RBS is supported by the generosity of individuals and churches who believe that training gospel ministers is a vital component of the Great Commission. Christ has entrusted the church with the task of training gospel laborers (2 Timothy 2:2). Accordingly, RBS has created the Church Partnership Program to provide a way for churches to cooperate together in training gospel laborers.
How can RBS offer theological education at such a reduced cost?
First, we are an online school, so we do not have a permanent residential faculty. Second, our staff offices and library are housed in facilities owned by Emmanuel Baptist Church of Coconut Creek, Florida. Third, tuition is kept low through a higher semester enrollment fee, which stabilizes our budget. Finally, we are blessed by the generosity of a committed group of supporting and overseeing churches.
If you are interested in knowing more about our financial needs, please contact the seminary dean. If you'd like to make a donation today, you can donate online. You can also mail your donations. RBS is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.
Individuals, churches and organizations may donate to the General Fund, or churches may consider the Church Partnership Program (below).
Please remember to also include RBS in your corporate prayer meetings and worship services.
What is the Church Partnership Program?
Churches that support the seminary for $2,000 or more per year* ($170 per month) or are part of our Church Partnership Program (CPP). Students who are members of a CPP church will receive free tuition at RBS. The student is still responsible for their semester enrollment fee (or any incidental fees, e.g.: drop/add, late fees, etc.), but tuition is covered and the overall cost is much less. This program helps RBS maintain lower costs for all of it students, while also providing the opportunity for a church to partner with us in such a way that multiple of its members can pursue degrees with RBS at very reduced costs.
To joint the CPP, simply make your first donation online (or by check) and email us letting us know that your church would like to partner with RBS. Students who are members of CPP churches are required to complete the CPP Commitment Form each year, before their tuition can be waived. The form can be found on the Student Area of our website and will be accessible to the student after enrollment is complete.
* The following breakdown is used to determine the minimum donation required based on the number of students enrolled in the seminary from a given CPP church:
