This fall, October 16–28 Emmanuel Baptist Church is hosting a 3-day module on Biblical Theology with Pastor John Sweat Jr.
Dr. Keith Evans will help us understand the differences between Biblical Counseling and other secular systems of counseling. The student will develop a more thoughtful approach to counseling individuals with insight into the multifaceted nature of the person, and grow in his creativity of handling various counseling problems.
Join us January 20–22, for a Doctrine of Christ module. Dr. Brian Borgman will lecture on the person of Christ, including his deity and humanity, as well as the work of Christ, including his incarnation, atonement, resurrection, and return.
Jeff Smith, Nick Kennicott, and Bob Gonzales will lecture on the legitimacy and usefulness of creeds and confessions, providing a historical survey of major doctrinal symbols with a special focus on the Second London Confession of Faith of 1689.
