I was born in California in a Christian home with a father who was a pastor and a Godly mother who sought to raise us in the fear of the Lord. When I was a ten we moved to Wyoming because my dad was called to pastor a church. As a boy, I grep up being self-righteous and oblivious to my own sin and need for a savior. By His grace, God showed me my sin and brought me to Himself.

In the report below, I provide an overview of what God has enabled Reformed Baptist Seminary to accomplish with a special focus on the past year. Then I highlight the seminary’s plans for the future.

Sometimes it isn’t obvious how much of a void existed until something comes along to fill that void. This is the case with Michael Lawrence’s book Biblical Theology in the Life of the Church. Written for a wide audience, Lawrence opens the subject of biblical theology to a wider audience than has previously been exposed to the subject. This is not an academic work written for professional theologians, but rather a popular book written for Sunday School teachers, deacons, youth workers, businessmen, and stay-at-home moms.

On the third week of August 15 students and auditors gathered in Sacramento, Califorinia for our 2012 summer module. The module featured multiple lecturers and focused on the topic of preaching. Pastor Brian Borgman who earned a Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Seminary in the area of preaching gave the bulk of the instruction.

Fifty-one students attended a recent module in Bogota, Colombia on Pastoral Counseling. Pastor Oscar Arocha of La Iglesia Bautista de la Gracia of Santiago, Dominican Republic served as the course lecturer. The students deeply appreciated Pastor Arocha's method of teaching as well as his knowledge and experience of the topic. Plenty of time was given for questions and answers

I was born and raised in Ohio, and I have an older brother and a younger sister. I was raised in a religious home nominally attending a mainline denominational church. Like most, I viewed myself as a ‘good person’ and was trusting in my own righteousness. Upon graduating high school I went to college and received an Associates Degree from Lima Technical College in Law Enforcement and a Bachelor of Science Degree from
