"The Cutting Edge": Technology & Ministry

In the two lectures below, Dr Bob Gonzales addresses the topic of technology and church ministry. He begins by defining the basic idea of “technology” and highlighting the different ways in which the term is used today. Then he provides a biblical theology of technology and human culture. Next, he notes some of the benefits, tradeoffs, and dangers of modern technology. Finally, he suggests several ways in which some modern technologies may be helpful for the local church’s ministry of outreach, discipleship, community, and worship. These lectures are part of the curriculum for the course PT 612 Church Ministry.
