Instructor Profile: Charles Hodges
/Dr. Charles Hodges teaches Counseling and Physiology.
Conversion
When Charles was 11 years old, most of my family became Christians. But Charles remained an unbeliever. He later confessed Christ as his Savior and Lord at the age of 19 as a result of accepting the challenge to read through the Bible in a year. He reached the gospel of John and saw Jesus for the first time in life. He understood his need for a Savior, believed that God raised Him from the Dead and became one of His.
Family
Charles met Helen in church one Sunday when she was visiting the church he regularly attended. They were married between his college graduation and his first year in the Indiana University School of Medicine. That was 1971; and since then they have been blessed with 4 children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. They are members of Faith Church in Lafayette, IN, where Dr. Hodges is an instructor/counselor for Faith Biblical Counseling Ministry.
