Instructor Profile: Mark Ward

Dr. Mark Ward teaches Hermeneutics for RBS

Conversion

Dr. Ward was raised in a Christian home and never knew a day in which he consciously disbelieved in Jesus. However, it was in his middle teen years that Mark first began having an independent desire for God and for holiness. Though he does not know when he passed from death to life, Mark trusts in Christ alone for his salvation now.

Family

Mark was married in 2008 to Laura (née Vrotsos). Together they have three children.

Mark spent many years in weekly evangelistic ministry across the tracks in Greenville, SC. His last five years there he served as an outreach pastor preaching weekly to a tiny congregation brought in on buses from the neighborhoods around the church. He was ordained as an elder/assistant pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school, preached on occasion, and led music weekly. He has also served Christ's body as a writer, editor, and Bible teacher at Logos, Crossway, RightNow Media, and YouTube.
