Instructor Profile: Robert Elliott

Robert teaches church history for RBS.

Conversion

Robert has been blessed to be raised in a Christian home, yet into his mid-teens he resented this due to the restrictions that he experienced. At 15 he was greatly humbled by the consequences of sin and at that point the Lord did a work of grace in his young, rebellious heart.
Quite quickly as a new Christian he embraced the Doctrines of Grace and began to read Spurgeon's sermons and wrestled with a conviction that the Lord was calling him to preach the gospel.

Robert has been married to Janice since 1985, and together they have three grown and married daughters who have so far given them 7 grandchildren with a set of twins.
