Graduate Profile: Ashby Andrew

Shortly after my conversion in 2002, I felt a strong desire for the proclamation of God’s word in my heart.
I have long since had a strong admiration for those who could declare God’s word with fervor, eloquence, and strong biblical convictions and theology.
There have been many obstacles that I have had to overcome to even be given the opportunity to validate my call through preaching. That opportunity came about ten years ago, and I was most grateful. Preaching for the past 10 years at my local congregation and elsewhere has been a privilege and something that I take very seriously as to the power and influence behind his most sacred task.
My current pastor has always encouraged me to study theology, and I was extremely grateful when I got to actually pursue my Diploma in Theological Studies at RBS.
My brief journey at RBS has been an extreme delight. I really love and appreciate the formats, structure, and mode of operation that the seminary has adopted. I am grateful for all the professors (especially Dr. Gonzales), who have been so helpful, understanding, and informative.
Choosing RBS was one of the best decisions I have made regarding my call to ministry, and I plan to continue all my future studies there by the grace of God.
