Graduate Profile: Dana Wiles (MTS)

Greetings in the name of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ! My name is Dana E. Wiles, Jr.

I was born and raised in southwestern Pennsylvania. In fact, I still reside there with my wife Rachel and our daughter Delilah Jane. I lived the first half of my life with a heart that was hardened by sin and unbelief. But when I was 20 years old, our sovereign God began pursuing

me. He started dethroning the idols in my life and showing me my great need for him. Through a series of difficult circumstances, the Lord guided me to an encounter with an old friend who shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with me. God graciously saved me as I repented of sin and believed on the Lord Jesus, and I was baptized a couple of months later. I had a strong desire to know and understand God’s word after my conversion, and that desire continued to grow into an aspiration to teach and preach his word in the local church.

During that time, I also got married and began serving in a variety of roles within the church. I then began preparing for ministry by earning a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University. The pastor of the church in which I served at the time desired to plant a church in the surrounding community to reach more people with the gospel of Christ. We began a church plant, and I was subsequently sent out with a group of fellow believers to plant Redeeming Grace Fellowship in October 2013. In 2019, the Lord led Redeeming Grace Fellowship to merge with Covenant Baptist Church of Uniontown, where I currently serve as Associate Pastor and assist my fellow elders with shepherding, teaching, preaching, and leading worship. In addition to being an elder at Covenant Baptist Church, I also work full-time throughout the work as a Market Account Manager for an industry-leading company that manufactures heat presses, heat transfer vinyl, screen printed transfers, and other apparel-decorating products and services.

Lord willing, I will continue my studies at Reformed Baptist Seminary later this year or early next year when I enter the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies program. I am very grateful to God for the time I have spent at RBS so far. The Lord has grown me in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and better equipped me to lead my family and our church. I pray that the Lord blesses RBS immensely as its faculty and staff continue working in close partnership with the local church to train and equip ministers of the gospel.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Cor. 13:14).
