Graduate Profile: Timothy Pruitt II, DTS
/“What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you” (Phil 4:9).
I am thankful for the many individuals who have been godly influences in my life and for the teaching that I received from the professors at RBS. It is my desire to continue to put into practice what I have learned and received so that others might hear and see as well.
The training I received from RBS has had a tremendous impact on my life. The most significant benefit being that each professor is not only interested in preparing and equipping the student to minister to others but is also concerned with the student’s personal spiritual growth. The combination of lectures, reading, and interactions with my mentor has greatly influenced my thinking and actions. I am thankful for their interest in establishing spiritual disciplines in each student’s life.
Currently, I am the lead teaching elder at Peace Haven Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC. I know that the training I received from RBS has better prepared me to shepherd his people, and I am thankful that God provided me with the opportunity to attend. I am also grateful for my father, who is also a pastor and my mentor, and for the support of my wife, Amanda, and our three children.
To God be the glory
