Seminary has not merely been an academic exercise for me, but a stabilizing ballast to my soul. I am more equipped to love God with my mind because of this school. The academic challenge and blessing RBS has provided also encouraged me to press on in my studies.

RBS has been challenging for me. I went into RBS with no formal education outside of high school and with a full family. Each day was a new test of my willingness to follow where I felt God was leading me.

I was thrilled to find the online resources that Reformed Baptist Seminary provided. I did not have to move to another location, I could study at my own pace, and I didn’t have to disrupt my family’s lives. Reformed Baptist Seminary allowed me to enroll at age 61.

I currently serve in the Pastoral Assistant role at Fairview Baptist Church and do a lot of diaconal roles. I am excited to be a part of equipping the saints for "boots on the ground" ministry which stretches far and wide from developing Christian resources to overseeing the upkeep of the church building.

As my teaching ministry grew, especially with young adults, I felt compelled to gain a more formal education in Biblical studies. After talking to a former student, I decided to go with RBS as it offered opportunity for learning abroad within a context of the local church body…
