On April 28, 2012, the first graduation of Copperbelt Ministerial College was held.  Fourteen students of the college received their Bachelors of Theology Degree. These students began their studies at the college almost five years ago, in July 2007. They received teaching from Reformed Baptist pastors hailing from as close as the host church in Ndola, to as far away as California in the USA. For four years, instructors came in pairs,

I was born in the state of Pennsylvania where I grew up in a Christian home and in Reformed Baptist circles. Saved as a child, I enjoyed a Christian school education and went on to receive a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University with a Minor in American Politics. I began my working career as an engineer but soon turned to sales for Emerson Electric where I have enjoyed working for the past 12 years. Under God’s kind providence,

The main purpose for this trip was to participate in the Doctrine of Man & Sin module, the fourth in the Marrow of Theology series which Reformed Baptist Seminary together with Facultad Teologica Bautista (a ministry of Iglesia Bautista Gracia Soberana, Bogota Colombia) organize and offer to Colombian pastors and ministerial candidates.

I grew up in Layton, Utah, a state that is predominantly Mormon. By God’s grace both my parents were Christians and we attended a church of roughly 25 people. Upon graduation from the University of Utah I was commissioned as an Intelligence Officer in the US Air Force. I was first stationed in San Angelo, Texas for Intelligence School.  There I attended another small church of roughly 15 people.

Reformed Baptist Seminary exists to prepare laborers for the gospel harvest. In light of our vision, I'm always thrilled to learn what our graduates are doing to advance Christ's kingdom. Rob Ventura graduated from Reformed Baptist Seminary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.Div.) degree. Shortly after, Rob was called to serve as a pastor of Grace Community Baptist Church, Rhode Island.

Without question, this was one of the best Reformed Baptist Seminary has offered so far. It was marked by a couple of "firsts." It was the first time we held a module in our newly designed (but not completely finished) virtual classroom. It was the first time we asked five speakers instead of one to carry the lecture load. It was the first time we dedicated two sessions to a Q&A panel discussion with four pastors fielding a variety of questions.
