I was born and raised in Ohio, and I have an older brother and a younger sister. I was raised in a religious home nominally attending a mainline denominational church. Like most, I viewed myself as a ‘good person’ and was trusting in my own righteousness. Upon graduating high school I went to college and received an Associates Degree from Lima Technical College in Law Enforcement and a Bachelor of Science Degree from2012 Graduation in the Dominican Republic: La Academia Ministerial de la Gracia and Reformed Baptist Seminary

On June 3rd, I had the privilege of participating in the graduation of and giving a charge to sixteen students from various parts of Latin America who completed a nine-month intensive theological training program offered by La Academic de la Gracia (Grace Ministerial Academy) in partnership with Reformed Baptist Seminary. Fifteen of the sixteen students completed 35 credits of academic study, including"Technology Giveth & Technology Taketh Away" by Dr Mark Ward Jr

Is modern technology a help or a hindrance to ministry? Dr Mark Ward Jr attempts to answer that question in a two-part video series entitled "Technology Giveth & Technology Taketh Away," which I've posted below. In part one, he focuses on how technology can aid our Bible study, sermon preparation, scheduling, etc. Then, in part two, Dr Ward highlights several ways in which the use of technology can distract us and negatively impact our ministry.2012 Spring Module in Colombia: "Salvation Accomplished"

We thank God for permitting us to complete another a module of the "Marrow of Theology" program. This time we 49 students received 21 hours of instruction on the topic "Salvation Accomplished" (Soteriology, Part 1). Oskar Arocha Jr., a graduate of Reformed Baptist Seminary, delivered the lectures, fielded questions, and interacted with the students one-on-one in order to help them understand what was taught.
