The "Old Perspective" on Justification in the Genesis Patriarchal Narratives

The "Old Perspective" on Justification in the Genesis Patriarchal Narratives
In case you haven’t noticed, the doctrine of justification by faith alone (sola fide) is under attack. A growing number of modern scholars are conflating faith and obedience, confusing faith’s mode of operation in justification with its mode of operation in sanctification. Through the faithful teaching and preaching of the gospel, God drew me to Himself at a young age and I turned in faith toward Him and in repentance away from my own righteousness and my sin. What grace to know that in my “hell-bound race” God pursued me even as a child!
