Graduate Profile: Kyle Hauck, M.Div.

I'm Kyle Hauck and I live in Orlando, FL. The Lord saved me in the beginning of my senior year of High School. He has given me a growing love for His Word, His worship, and His witness. I am married to my beautiful and supportive wife Kimberly and we have four, fun children.

I thank God for the education I received from Reformed Baptist Seminary. I really appreciated the help, support, feedback, and encouragement I received as a student. I found the courses challenging yet thoroughly enjoyable. I believe the RBS courses, coursework, and feedback helped grow me spiritually and evened out some of my theological imbalances.

I particularly benefited in my understanding of a robust Reformed Baptist church polity and a balanced philosophy of ministry. For me, this was probably the greatest benefit. I am thankful for my introduction to Reformed Baptist covenant theology and biblical theology in addition to a more mature understanding of our reformed faith. Additionally, the pastoral focus is evident throughout the course lectures.

I am grateful that I was able to complete my degree via distance education. I have a busy schedule and the program's flexibility worked well for my lifestyle. I'm glad I was able to stay in my local area, work full-time, raise 4 children, and serve in my local church. I'm thankful I was able to do seminary while being mentored by my pastors. I believe seminary training should be connected with the local church.

It has taken me 8 years to complete the Divinity program. I'm grateful that the Lord gave me a supportive, encouraging, and sacrificial wife. She has blessed me and helped me in more ways than I can count. I am thankful for the encouragement I have received from my elders at Grace Chapel and from RBS to persevere.

I currently serve as a pastoral intern at Grace Chapel in Sanford, FL and hope to serve as an elder in the future. I've enjoyed the opportunity to teach Sunday School and preach. I am bi-vocational, working as a financial analyst and also as a part-time Dean's Assistant for Reformed Baptist Seminary.

I'm currently pursuing a Master of Theology and plan to focus on church polity. I believe my training has helped develop me so that I can confidently assist Christ's church. I hope to serve the Lord in our local church, in the training of men for ministry with RBS, and in the fellowship and cooperation between local churches.

In Christ alone,
Kyle Hauck, M.Div.
