Conversion
Michael was baptized when he was 9 yeas old. But from 9 years old to 23 yeas old he continued to live for basketball. One day when he was about 23 he was playing basketball and got hit, fell to the ground, and slipped a disc in his back. He ended up having to have back surgery which required a month of rest and recuperation. During that time he read "The Potter's Freedom" by Dr. James White and that book changed the trajectory of his life.
Family
Michael has been married to his wife Ashley since 2008. They have 3 kids - Liam, Lorelai, and Méav.
Vocation
Currently Michael is working as a missionary in the Republic of Ireland.
Hobbies
Michael loves to read, study languages, and play basketball.
Church Ministry
While Michael is a missionary, he is currently serving as the pastor of Dundalk Baptist Church. The founding pastor of this church recently passed away and so Michael has taken over with the hope of raising up men to lead the church in the future.

Bachelors degree in Political Science and Persian Language from the University of Utah; MDiv from RBS, MABL from Houston Baptist University.

Research Interests
Michael's two main research interests are how functional and cognitive linguistics can better help us to understand the biblical languages as well as how biblical theology helps us to understand the meta-narrative of Scripture.
