My studies at Reformed Baptist Seminary have enriched my ability to co-lead the Young Adults ministry at RBCR. This role has been a tremendous blessing, allowing me to apply what I have learned to serve and guide others.

My father was a Southern Baptist pastor for most of my childhood. After spending some time in the army, I attended a university that is aligned with the Baptist General Convention of Texas for both undergraduate and graduate studies.

The sound biblical knowledge and comprehensive theological training I have received through RBS is invaluable to me and the church already. I know I will be using this degree and even continuing to audit classes as I plan on retiring from public school teaching and continue to pursue ministry in the coming years.

I have witnessed a tremendous outpouring of God’s kindness in our valley through Reformed theology. RBS has had an active role in this with the training of fellow pastors in my area and through men like Brian Borgman.

During my time at RBS I have gained a greater appreciation for Reformed Baptist convictions and more importantly, a richer understanding and love for the God who stands behind those convictions.

The instruction has provided me with the needed tools to be a life-long student of the Word, has helped me grow in the area of practical theology, and has given me a much deeper appreciation for historic confessional Baptist tradition.
