The module on Old Testament Introduction is underway. Last week, Dr. Robert Gonzales lectured on such topics as the OT's relevance, authority, composition, and transmission. He also began a series of lectures on the OT's historical reliability, which he'll complete when he returns the third week of October (17-22).

Greg Nichols was born in 1948 in Paterson, NJ. God saved him from a life of gross wickedness in 1971. He graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida in 1973 with a BS in chemical engineering. He worked for four years as a chemical engineer. In 1977 he entered Trinity Ministerial Academy (TMA), Montville, New Jersey and married Ginger Barker of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

The Reason for God is not a book about Apologetics; The Reason for God is Apologetics.  Pastor Timothy Keller has not written a book primarily to teach other Christians how to defend the Christian faith to unbelievers; he has written a book which actually is a direct interaction with our non-Christian culture. 

My first study Bible portrayed the flow of redemptive history under the rubric of changing “dispensations.” This approach helped me to appreciate the progressive nature of special revelation. But the more I studied the Scriptures, the less correspondence I sensed between the biblical text and the dispensational scheme in the accompanying notes.
