My enrollment into RBS is one outworking of that hunger. The quality of teaching, rigorous standards, and dedication to local churches is second to none and makes RBS a thoroughly unique, impactful learning institution. The professors are experienced gospel ministers who are both able to teach and provide a treasure of practical ministry advice.

I remember standing on the lawn outside Royce Hall at UCLA, celebrating my medical school graduation. I had completed my academic pilgrimage. No more school—or so I thought. Unimaginably, twenty-two years later, I asked my wife, "What do you think about me studying in seminary?" Receiving a surprised look, but not one of disapproval, I embarked on an unforgettable four-year journey here at Reformed Baptist Seminary (RBS).

In 2022, when I completed my service with the Army, I began to pursue theological education. I completed my Bachelors degree online at a Christian university where I had thought I would continue working towards a Masters of Divinity. For many reasons I chose to look for other seminaries and ended up at Reformed Baptist Seminary.

I began the agonizing search for a seminary in which I could stay at home in my home church yet also receive a quality education. In God’s providence, I found RBS which has been an absolute joy and blessing.

During my time as a student at RBS, the Lord has graciously used my studies to further conform me into Christ’s image and equip me to be a better shepherd and servant in Christ’s church.
